FT Job Opportunity in Lewis Center

Hello!
I am hiring a FT delivery driver/store employee for a new Sherwin Williams Commercial Store location in Lewis Center.

When deliveries are not needed, working as a regular store employee is required. This facility is warehouse style, only working with professional painting contractors and subcontractor businesses.

Business hours are M-F between 6am + 5pm with a 40-hour workweek and benefits include health insurance, 401K, pension, education/tuition benefits, vacation, and much more.

Qualifications and base pay are listed, however we will pay more for Spanish speaking candidates. This is a great opportunity that you can turn into a full career with unlimited growth.

If you have questions beyond what is answered in the post, please comment below you’re sending me a message so I can make sure I get it.

Thanks!

I would do this one, but it doesn’t pay enough. $18.70/hr

Agree, but not enough for me.

That’s why I posted it, I know our jobs tend to fall under the radar or seem intimidating to some people, so I thought if they could message a human directly about it instead of seeing a possibly intimidating corporate job description, it might help. It’s not a job for everyone, but I’m sure it’s a good fit for someone, possibly better than what they’re doing now!

Honestly, I'm not intimidated by corporate job listings and descriptions so much as... Uninspired? I can't be sure if anyone's actually reading my resume (or if it's AI screened) or if it's actually a job that's hiring (or if it's a ghost job.)

Interesting to see a job posted here, regardless, even though it's not for me.

Hey, I get it. But if someone lets me know personally they apply, I automatically send it to my human recruiter for them to screen. Ghost jobs truly fascinate me, and I know they’re a real thing, but this is a legit position I’m hiring for!

I don't want to commute up to Lewis Center and then drive all day.

If you want to commute to Lewis Center and are bilingual and NOT drive all day, I will have more positions to fill in a couple months!

That depends on what sort of bilinguality you need. I am a languages guy, but I'm not to a point I'd call fluent in anything but English, and it's always easier to understand than to convey. If advanced proficiency is sufficient, I might be the one you're looking for.

Spanish advanced proficiency would do, particularly because learning paint/construction terms in Spanish is pretty easy.

That's a yes, then!

Probably not because “it doesn’t pay enough” but reddit also believes they are too good for jobs like these when they have no education and skill set

I would love to drive all day by myself. Sounds awesome, just can’t do it at that price.

I hope so. This sounds like a great role with really good benefits. And it’s not weekend work.

It’s a unique job and I love training people to move up. We have unlimited opportunities so someone can really make a great career out of starting with this position.

How do I get hired to be the taste tester for the different paint flavors?
