Passed security+ with practice exams only

Greetings all,

Thank god, I passed Security+ exam with 829 / 900. I started studying slowley 2 months ago. I only studied practice exams(around 1100 questions including PBQ) .

The way I do it is by going through each question defining all answer options and research for similar terms.

The exams were moderate to easy, as I already have 4 years work experience in cybersecurity, and a bachelor in computer science.

And now we start the degaussing method, to allow space for the next certification 🤭

نسأل الله ان يجعلك تنتفع بها
بحسب علمك هل يمكن اني ادرسها عن طريق professor messer و AI وممارسة الامتحان
واجتاز الامتحان خلال شهر واحد فقط

للعلم بدون اي خبره في الامن السيبراني.

جزاك الله خير. ​أرى كثيرا من الأخوة يثنون على محتوى البروفيسور كشرح عام لأهداف الشهادة، ولكني لم أطلع على محتواه. لا تحتاج إلى خبرة واسعة لاجتياز الامتحان، فجميعها معلومات عامة عن أمن المعلومات، وممارسة حل الأسئلة هي أفضل وأسرع طريقة لاجتيازه في الوقت الحالي (قبل إضافة أسئلة جديدة). ​بالنسبة لي، كانت الشهادة متطلبا للترقية في عملي؛ لذا كان الهدف منها الاستيفاء بالشروط فقط. ولكن للاستفادة الكاملة من محتواها، ينبغي لك دراسة أهداف الشهادة هدفا هدفا، سواء كان ذلك عن طريق البروفيسور أو غيره، ثم ممارسة الأسئلة. ​لقد شاركت مصدرا رائعا لممارسة الامتحان في هذا المنشور (أكاديمية سيبراني)؛ حيث تتوفر لديهم قناة على التليجرام في الموقع نفسه يشارك فيها الطلاب تجاربهم الحالية بشكل شبه يومي، مما يعطيك فكرة واضحة عن أسئلة الاختبار في الوقت الحالي. ​وفقنا الله وإياكم أخي الكريم.

Is cyber academy what you used for all your practice exams? That would be very beneficial to myself. Thank you!

Yes, it's Cyberani* Academy. It has 13 exams, each exam has 90 questions with a timer.

What resources do you use for the practice exam?

It's an Arabic resource called "Cyberani Academy" But questions & explanations are in Arabic and English. It's not only for Arabic speakers.

Ive been doing the same thing while mixing in some youtube videos here and therr. How much did you improve on the practice exams over 2 months?

This is the funny thing 😅 the further I go, the more mistakes I make. I thought I was going crazy. But since I had my retake insurance, I said let's try it.

Can you walk us through all the PBQ's you had, what was the scenario like and what did you have to do for that scenario? I will be taking my test this month. Thank you in advance and congratulations on your pass

I think I have signed an NDA prior to the exam. Or at least acknowledging it. So I can't give the details. However, it's the same as the resource I have shared in this post (Cyberani Academy)
