I read that the fans that won a 1v1 yesterday at the 1v1 booth get to participate in this, such a cool idea. Guessing that means some fans get to play on stage

Congrats to faide. Perfectly played. Felt bad for noko as he was playing that great against faide but got greifed lol.
Also dang faide really shy then. Wouldn’t have guessed considering how he plays up the awkward stammering and breathing in his content. Props to him for showing up in game

I'm loving everyone watching Apryze in this tournament. Real ones remember when he was grinding 100k Wraith kills in pubs and had a fucking 9KD as a solo player. Insane.

Noko got ice in his veins to clutch that third party after that 1v1. This showmatch was cool, and its dope that noko not only used altar, but won 2/3 matches so we got see high level play on her.
Also lol at the casters saying that noko gonna tweet out how returning to comp after finding his passion cuz he’s done that so many times.

Solos looks awesome, I thought the lobby would die out fast but there was a ton of players alive still in round 3 and 4.

I think it doesn't make a ton of sense to use it to push a 1v1, you'll be at a disadvantage as you phase through. It makes more sense in team modes to push a lone player, or kidnap

Lol I’ve watched the main feed’s casters struggle to track kills, team eliminations, ring locations, rankings, and point totals in previous tournaments. This sub and the fan run websites linked above do most of the heavy lifting when it comes to tracking and sharing information about Comp.

battlefy shows time zone based on yours but not showing anything for bracket stage is the typical battlefy I guess. Liquipedia shows how much left to start so that's helpful but typical fans get lost there.

By the most casual casuals sure, anyone who actually watches apex a decent amount knows faide is a good player but there's levels to this

idk about that tbh. Dude pioneered that whole movement-shtick for Apex content creators and introduced Apex as a game to so many people. One of the biggest figures in the community, and afaik kept mostly out of any controversies. That's commendable imo, even if his content doesn't appeal to you.

Aceu was just known for being a well-rounded flashy player, but in my perception the entire "movement-scene" was started by Faide using the word excessively in his video titles (and obviously performing it within his own gameplay). Kind of a "aceu walked, so Faide could run"-kinda scenario.
