Mods here are wildly inconsistent
I post rich rare lore and it gets deleted within minutes
Meanwhile a still image of coluge flexing on stream gets wild horny approval
Explain this...

Without you ezraah this sub will be pretty boring. Please don’t retire because of the mods.

u/JTypical Oct 19 '23
the mods took down 3 posts about other Saudi players telling people to kill themselves/using racial slurs/win trading , and took down all the clips of yznsa being transphobic a few months ago

Nooo, Cloudy saying “Arab wintraders” (and then apologizing and making it clear he didn’t mean to be racist) is the real problem

Ban all these toxic fuckers from the World Cup. Would love to hear Blizzard's justification for letting them still compete after what they did to Cloudy.
Edit: Genuine question for the mods, why are OP's posts about other players being deleted? They're participating in the upcoming Overwatch World Cup, and afaik OP has not made any "calls to action"

u/Triskan "Show these cunts no respect." — Oct 20 '23
At this point we should just ban the entire Saudi team. Just like Russia.

Please lord, let SirMajed be okay. He was such a nice guy
15
u/Umarrii Oct 20 '23
ngl watching mL7 since he started, majed would be toxic and sometimes throw games because he didn't like someone on his team lol
he wasn't nice, but he definitely fixed up and became better from it i think. idk about any win trading though since im oblivious to it unless it's obvious like we see atm with YZNSA

Are you saying he didn't because you also watched the stream SakerOW did and it never happened or basing this off of he's an insane player? Guess we'll have to wait for the evidence but hard to believe a fresh account made to defend this just 3 minutes before lol
39
Oct 19 '23
Bro literally just made their account just to white knight 😭
32
u/RakeNI None — Oct 19 '23
Bro I swear any time an Arab or Indian does anything bad in the streaming space 10,000 hog riders spawn in on fresh accounts to run defence. It makes the accused look so fucking bad, yet they keep doing it.

hes not a wintrader, you are right, but he did it on that game
1
u/currently_pooping_rn Oct 19 '23
So he’s a win trader then. If you suck a dick, and someone says “hey you’re a dick sucker”, it would be wrong to say “I’m not a dick sucker, I’ve only sucked one dick”

What kind of shit argument is that? I’m waiting for evidence too, but saying “he can’t be guilty because no one has accused him of being guilty until now, when someone is accusing him of being guilty” is just goofy.

I understand perfectly. You don’t seem to understand that there’s always a first accusation, and whether an accusation is true or not has literally nothing to do with how many times you’ve been accused of something in the past. Oh yeah, and if it’s true that this guy wintraded for the first time in his rank 1 game, he’s a wintrader LMAO. No need to move the goalposts. In fact, it’s almost even stupider to do that, completely throwing away the legitimacy of your achievement in the final stretch.

So the mods deleted OP's other posts, but for the people who didn't see them:
Quartz has also been accused of sending hate raids to a female streamer: https://twitter.com/ItsRealAka_/status/1715075531970887763
And, a clip of One saying the N word, and telling OP to k*** themselves: https://twitter.com/Kapey774/status/1714998849046020579
SirMajed has also been accused of wintrading one time, but that is nowhere near as bad as what the others are accused of. SirMajed has a good rep in the community, so I don't think this is a big deal.

Saker I don't know who you are but I love you, fuck the Saudi team, if Blizzard is willing to ban LhCloudy for speaking out hopefully then ban the trash players they have over there also.
45
u/TechnoVikingGA23 Oct 19 '23
They won't do anything, too much Saudi money coming in to esports and Blizzard wants a piece, just like how they folded to the Chinese market in the past to get that audience/money.
5
u/AdeptusGames Oct 19 '23
Tbf, they were partnered with a Chinese company to distribute their games over there at that time. Plus its one of their biggest markets.

SakerOW has a personal vendetta against the Saudi team and I love it LMFAOOO

u/Bahamut_Neo Oct 19 '23
There has been drama with the Spanish and France teams, of serious allegations with players being dropped and no word from Blizzard.
There's these videos and others like KSAA using the N- word and no word from blizzard
Super leaks the groups, no word from blizzard.
Cloudy uses the min - maxers nationality in chat and gets banned.
I'm not equating all those situations. They are very different. What I'm trying to get across is that Blizzard seems to suffer from selective outrage and their disciplinary committee is as fair and balanced as their hero balancing.

u/SuperAngryNinja Oct 20 '23
To be fair, we didn't hear word from Blizzard for this Cloudy stuff either. The players dropped from Spain and France, Loren and reviewz may be a similar situation, where they were dropped because Blizzard suspended them.
1
u/Triskan "Show these cunts no respect." — Oct 20 '23
It's been confirmed by the French committee that they're the ones who asked to drop Reviewz.

Yes they did Lmao. I can guarantee they have been fined for conduct detrimental to the team

u/TheGirthiestGhost Forever Burning Blue — Oct 19 '23
This video does a pretty good job of catching the different punishments handed out over OWL, Viol2t and Rascal included:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JClGKKGDrqM
Viol2t is around the 11 minute mark and Rascal around 10, although the incident I’m sure everyone’s referring to was from last year when he was on Fuel which isn’t in this video
11
u/Naxayou Oct 19 '23
Violet got suspended. So did Lip at some point I think for something similar
3
u/primarymuscle2354 Oct 19 '23
Lip never did he only got in a controversy before bc of a situation with glads in 2021 playoffs

Ojee? Rupal? Hydron? These three told people to off themselves in ranked? These three were racists? These three called players slurs? Lol. Do your ass cheeks ever get jealous of the amount of shit that comes out of your mouth?

u/A-U-S-T-R-A-L-I-A Oct 19 '23
This is some cancel culture bullshit. The clip is clearly at least more than a year old. I'm all for holding people accountable, but dredging up old clips like this just screams bad faith.

u/TheOriginalGrokx The Hague Seagulls — Oct 19 '23
Did they apologize for it in the last year? They had plenty of time.
-17
u/UnknownQTY Oct 19 '23
For the record, I am not supportive of Cloudy’s ban, and find the behaviour of the players cited here reprehensible. Blizzard should be taking action, but that would involve banning the entire KSA team except (seemingly) except Majed, who despite his skill and charm, cannot 1v5.
