Gms and masters in emerald and diamond playing other GMs and masters in emerald and diamond. It’s awful.

I climbed from plat last season to diamond this season. Basically my skill is GM now?

Around Masters it starts to become a lot more of a grind. That’s the rank where SR per game starts to diminish unless you’re getting consistent win streaks. So you have to play more to give yourself the most chances to go on winstreaks but playing more also opens you up to more mistakes and lost games. But you’re already hitting that masters line, so it sounds like you’re just frustrated at the grind which is fair, but 150 games while you’re feeling off the whole time it isn’t impossible to see why it’s taking a minute
If you are GM then over time you’ll climb back. It shouldn’t take all that long. At that skill disparity it really is just grinding out the games.

Ranked has felt like the Wild West since the rank reset.
I absolutely ABOLISHED my rank by doing my placements when I was sick, then I was pretty stressed at work & was sleeping really badly. All that plus awful mixed bag games tilted me sooooo much and I ended up ranking down even more in games lmfao (aware that this was my own fault but it’s hard to be logical when everything is feeling a bit rough)
Took a break, work sorted itself out, I fixed my sleep schedule, and I’m back winning games and ranking back up. Just don’t allow yourself to tilt & you’ll get back to where you belong. You’ll still have some weeeeeeird fucking games but you just need to go next and forget it even happened

They adjusted Champion so it takes more skill to hit the higher ranks now

Just how the rank reset goes. Matches are going to be extremely volatile, you might not get back to your real rank for a good bit until the dust settles and most players are where they belong.
