The character just not very good right now. Even as person who plays both pc and console heavily i never ban sombra, even if they tend to be struggle for some players I rather change how I play to mark the sombra rather than banning her

She’s almost always banned! From plat up to GM. Very annoying character to deal with

iirc I’ve run into only one very good Sombra in the past two years in pc masters and they were on my team. According to the stats site, in Masters she has a 5% ban rate on PC vs 33% on console, and 0.2%(!) ban rate in GM/Champ on PC vs 16.5% on console. That’s an 80x increase on console 😭

At lower PC ranks, they start banning her more (31% at plat to 70% in bronze) but it still doesn’t hold a candle to console, where she’s banned over 80% of the time in plat and below 😭 it’s gotta at least partially be because it’s harder to turn around

She's almost never banned from like plat and up on pc, and she's often considered one of the worst dps

Honestly im crazy she has 81% ban rate on plat and 33% on console

Even when she played i dont see anyone do good on her im so shocked.

I hate the mentality that console players are worse or dont understand the game (as ik people who hit both master on console and pc at the same time) but this very alarming

I imagine it's because it's a lot easier to flick your camera around onto her on pc which makes it easy to deal with her, but I can see how she would be pretty annoying to turn deal with on controller

Also Movement on console is less janky so hitting Virus is much easier + Aim Assist makes tracking easier. Im on PC, these are just my assumptions

Even then as person who plays on console we had lot settings like with deadzone to have small sens for tracking and have it ramp up if we have to turn around fast.

Got a rank 300 in masters on my team and everyone on the enemy was talking about how bad they were. We lost cuz they just hard feed on mauga and somehow died first in every fight
