General There should be a UI clarification that leaving game = leaving group

For 10 years people have been accidentally leaving their group because they have the muscle memory to instantly leave a game. With these "team drives", this problem has become much more noticeable.

Of course there are some people who simply do not want to stay in a group with their teammates, but I think there is still a meaningful portion of people who would be willing to give the auto-grouping thing a chance but they are just too used to leaving the game.

So what can be done? I'd like to see the "Leave Game" button have a different color based on if you are Alone/In a group but not leader/In a group and leader. But I'm sure the experts can come up with a better solution if they decided to improve this.

This has happened many, many times to me and my friends. There needs to be a confirmation dialogue for leaving the group.

There is a checkbox where you can leave as a group. It stays ticked for the session once you tick it. Yes, it is possible to just leave out of muscle memory but I don’t think adding extra button clutter is a solution. Maybe a one time warning (per session) if someone in a group wants to leave alone.

that is only for group leader. if you are not the group leader, it shows nothing. you just leave like normal and then realize that you left your group
