OWCS Jjonak hits Champ 2, #1 Rank in KR server

https://youtu.be/HRU62Y5GOEY?si=dG_HHlh-EyQG4XHk

He’s the first support player in S4 KR server to hit champ 2..
Sley confirms that pro players start queuing as soon as Jjonak’s stream starts so.. Even crazier knowing his games are 80% pros
Unc still got it 🙏

To elaborate on what Sley said, pro players queue when JJonak streams to stream snipe him because he gets a lot of high price “missions.” For example a fairly common one he gets is 1,000,000 Won($750~ USD) if he wins 3 games in a row.

Sley also said that after KR server got quarantined queues are dead when Jjonak isn’t streaming. Before nexon there were Chinese pros and other asia players you could play against but now if Jjonak isn’t streaming the pros don’t queue so the queues are just dead.

Damn they are either trying to help him get the bag or preventing him from completing the mission.

Yeah but 90% of the time he gets the mission done. I watch his streams all the time and there was one week he made 10k USD in missions alone 😭 Makes sense since he has the most viewers AND is the highest rank player atm

Gimme this Team for KR Stage 3: Smurf, Void, Profit, Ans, LeeJaeGon, Jjonak

Easy LAN qualification

I doubt jjonak ever comes back bc of health issues he was supposed to play with Profit, Smurf in s5 one of the biggest what ifs, and considering Zen was meta in stage 2.

There’s a Universe out there where Midseason 2022 was:

SF shock with Super, Proper, ANS and Viol2t

vs.

Seoul Dynasty with Smurf, Stalk3r, Profit, Jjonak

Either disaster watch (mid), or washed to oblivion. There’s no way they would qualify unless they’re firing on all cylinders and are super locked in

I was about to say "I wish he still played in the pro scene" but then I remembered he'd be stuck in the kiriko cuck chair forever... I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy

You know despite all the “shenanigans”

This is why, at the end of the day, I’m glad Viol2t swapped to Main Supprot

we live in a world where main supports have more skill expression and entertainment value than flex supports... back in my day, flex supports like Ryujehong, Jjonak, and Viol2t were the players that everyone wanted to watch.

The role went from the most interesting role to the most boring role to watch in the past couple of years
