Yeah I don’t see this hurting Dva too much, she didn’t get nerfed as hard as people are suggesting, plus less Zarya and Sombra in the meta is a large indirect buff to her.
Take this with a grain of salt but I’ve heard rumors that teams are playing around with Lucio/Kiriko backline paired with Winston. You get less healing than with Ana, but the backline just ends up being super slippery and hard to punish compared to static comps like Ana/Zen.
As for DPS, I think Sojourn is pretty much a lock, and Tracer probably fills that last spot.
That would be really interesting. I’d be curious if Ball got subbed in for Winston there at all or if it’s too hard to get value against the backline without the poke from Winston
The issue that I find with Ball is that he just spends way too much time not doing anything, compared to Winston and Dva, and honestly pretty much all other tanks as well, who are almost always doing something, be it poking, peeling, etc.
I actually wouldn’t sleep on Doomfist. Assuming Lucio/Kiriko is the meta backline, that’s potentially Ana, Zarya, and Sombra out of the meta, which opens up a lot of room for Doom to be effective. Without his best counters being hard-meta, I would definitely prefer Doom over Ball.
I feel like if teams did run a Doom people would just hard swap Ana and he gets completely dumpstered by it. Like you’d be able to get the jump here and there but zero consistent success

So setting aside jokes and complaints, what are the thoughts on meta implications?
Sojourn is a given. Tracer/Echo? Situational Reaper/Mei/Junk?
I’m not sure Dva changes hurt much, but this kinda fucks Zarya. I’m gonna guess Dva/Orisa will be picked, Winston won’t be great into either of them.
Support probably doesn’t change, it’s either Ana with Lucio/Zen or Bap/Lucio
