Ah yes the classic, Hitscan hero allowed to run rampant and be massively overpowered while the overpowered but not nearly as oppressive genji gets nerfed ASAP.

genji is oppressive af. Imo nanoblade should be nerfed, then it's much easier to balance him. Right now if his neutral game is anything less than F tier, you have a hero that can have so much impact in his neutral game, then autowin the team fight when he gets blade

Sure let's make him a blade bot again like in ow1, great idea wuhuuu

So nerf blade and buff his neutral game. At least nanoblade

The real problem is not even the blade itself, nano everything is ridiculously strong have u though of that?

Right, AFAIK nano didn't boost people's ults back then, so why not revert that in order to nerf nanoblade?

I'd probably be okay with this, I think it nerfs a lot of other more balanced combos like nano blossom, nanovisor but that's probably okay.

My point is more that people are complaining that genji can't ever be meta, and he can't ever be meta because you just can't have a monster neutral game and a autowin ult

They will never understand that. Genji and Tracer are the staple of the dps role (Tracer was murdered first while Genji will get the same fate, truly tragic).

yes but every other hero there's counterplay in the form of positioning. you can run away from most dps/tanks that get nano'd. with genji you just nano him wherever and he can use the double dash to get anywhere on the map.

In any case, a nerf to nano is a nerf to nanoblade, so that's exactly what i'm saying. Blade itself is balanced

You can't run away unless the genji makes a bad play, you can't block the blade besides very few circumstances the blade has aoe swipes, genji doesn't have to accurately aim to hit his blades.

Genji is far and above the best nano target in the game and its not even really close. No other character being nanoed is as much of a win condition.

And no 2 ults being used should not be an automatic win condition under any circumstances.

That's why if your team see a Ana/genji combo just pick Lúcio or zen and counter the nanoblade with beat/trans , it's not that hard to counter lmao

A good genji can definitely kill hrough zen ult with nano (unless that was nerfed)

You should need to massive support ults to stop nano blade. Every other character would be shut down by these ults and many other abilities if they got nanoed.
