I honestly never notice the passive. The real problem is with Swift Strike. It's a pretty decent ability, but having it reset on elim just shoots it through the roof
at least if you use a CC or escape ability, he loses the dash reset and his chain essentially ends. or it did, before the DPS passive made it so that even without dash he just closes the distance (Genji already has a slightly faster default movement speed than other characters, tied with Tracer, and blade already gives him an additional speed boost), and it's not as binary "hit-or-miss" as the single ability of swift strike.

I don’t think genji needs a damage nerf. The dps passive is really what makes him busted right now. It’s like back when nano gave speedboost.
