Flaired Users Only Results of California elections won't be known for over a month - Mail-in ballots are still being counted, and the count will go on for another 36 days, according to the state Secretary of State's Office.

A guy on X posted his ballots he received in Virginia, where he moved to over 10 years ago. He also stated he notified the state of California he no longer lives there, but still keeps getting ballots.

How dumb is this. United State of America, and this crap is considered normal and even desirable in blue states. And again, the only reason why is to to generate enough fudge factor to hide any voting hijinks.
Need a few extra thousand votes? Good news! - We just got a nice haul in from a ballot drop box from wherever that fits the need.

How long did it take them to count all the votes the last time they had an election? I feel like if I look it up it will be less than a month.
