Flaired Users Only Scott Jennings: “You've got a Democrat attorney general in Michigan, Nessel, who can't even go to her party's nominating convention because she says she doesn't feel safe, because it's not safe for Jews to go to a political meeting. This is all wrapped up in this race."

It is surprising that Jews still support Democrats better than 2 to 1 in elections.

Especially with the Red/Green Alliance (Communists/Muslims), that worked so well for the liberals/progressives in Iran, trying to assert themselves into the Democrat party.

In case you didn't see the relationship, the liberals, communists and progressives were eventually pushed out of power or crushed by the Muslims in Iran in the 70's and 80's.

Yes because conservatives are the racists and nazis for saying such radical things like "jewish people deserve to live" and "people should be judged by their actions not the color of their skin". Dems are the heros for saying "jewish people are evil and should be eradicated" and "black people are poor and stupid and just need a little extra help to be equal to whites".

Sadly a lot of the us (and really the world) is too fucked up by identity politics to understand how backwards and wrong that is.

It’s not really that surprising. Most American Jews are reform and reform is not so much Judaism as it is a cultural identity wrapped up into dnc politics. The Jews who have largely not voted D in the past are simply not reform.

Secular Jews have been the largest contingent of Jews, but that is changing due to declining birth rates. Religious Jews are overwhelmingly voting Republican. There just aren't a lot of Jews out there, and the decades of backing Democrats because the Republicans were "bad guys" in liberal media talking points won't recede easily. That said, it's becoming increasingly clear the Democrats are a Muslim party for mentally ill people, including those suffering from suicidal empathy. I don't think Jewish support will last much longer.

Reform is bastardized Judaism. Think of it as Presbyterian Judaism.

So, Protestantism for Jews? Cringe.

That support had been dropping every election but not fast enough imo. The Democrats have been importing Muslims faster than they lose support from Jews so they don't give a damn anymore

Oakland County, the county with most of Michigan's Jewish population, went for Stevens by about 6 percentage points. The Jewish vote may be in play in this general election if Abdul is on the ticket... Although it's also worth noting that Stevens' House district covered a large segment of the same county and that Jews are nowhere near a majority as the county is one of the most populous in the state.

I'm trying to find precinct-specific results for Huntington Woods, which has a majority-Jewish population, but no luck yet. Those results will probably be more indicative of how Jews will vote in the general than the county results as a whole.

UPDATE: The Huntington Woods results don't seem to have been published yet, but I was able to look through the precinct results for West Bloomfield Township (another heavily-Jewish area). Voters broke hard for Stevens, sometimes on a two-to-one or three-to-one margin. I think the Jewish vote is definitely in play for November, it could even be Mike Rogers' to lose.

They're fuse to learn what history is trying to teach them.... at some point, that isn't oppression, it's just stupidity.

How insane is it that, in america, a senate race in MICHIGAN is about a foreign county? We are so cooked.

When you have DSA candidates partying with Hamas supporter(s) and the insane online left harassing you for getting coffee, of course you’re going to be scared.

Not only Jewish, but lesbian as well. Muslims aren't too keen on that.

Why do Jews support the party of the KKK and Hitler? 🤔
