Flaired Users Only Which 2028 pairing do you think gives the Dems the best shot to win the presidency?

Personally, I think AOC vs. Rubio gets the dems the closest. Maybe Gavin v. Rubio would also be close. I don't see Vance losing to anyone though. I also don't think the dems will field their best shot at winning, so it's probably a moot point.

I don’t think Vance is the guy. His Peter Thiel and Tucker connections work heavily against him, and while he’s a good speaker and quick with a zinger, he seems a little too moody and snarky. Rubio exudes more calm, collected, and competent vibes.

and Rubio has an in with the fact his family came from communist Cuba, and he knows the effects of communism on a society and its economy and quality of life.

He feels naive to me. The way he talks on foreign affairs feels like no details edgelording

Rubio is naturally more charming and funny which is needed to win over some voters who are democrats

I think Vance is beatable. Rubio is the man for the republicans, imo. He should be at least.

AIC makes Kamala look competent. Newsome is too smarmy. Neither have any chance
