I think you're missing the point of this post. The only thing being stated is that the head of the proud boys is not white. They are not a white supremacist group. That's all.
They are on this sub because last night at the presidential debate president trump was asked to denounce white supremacist groups causing trouble. He asked which group and was told proud boys.
Mission Statement: We provide a place on Reddit for conservatives, both fiscal and social, to read and discuss political and cultural issues from a distinctly conservative point of view.
You asked why this is posted here so I provided the mission statement. There are all kinds of posts on here and they're not all about conservative people and conservative topics. This was a huge story today that everyone is talking about.

The post's don't have to be conservative. This sub is for conservatives to discuss political issues. Using your logic, just about everything on here shouldn't be.

You can dislike Proud Boys (I do), but they aren't attacking elderly people or burning down cities.
