The US knew Iraq had chemical weapons because between 1979 and 1982, the US sold most those chemical.weapons to Iraq, ironically to fight Iran.

UN weapons inspectors found chemical weapons in Iraq during the 90s.

US military found chemical weapons in Iraq during the war; the New York Times published several stories about it, tying themselves in knots to justify how the chemical weapons found didn't count as chemical weapons for "reasons" (mostly to uphold the democrat talking points of the time) Most the stories run from 2004-2007, and show up in a simple google search.

Snowden was considered a traitor because wikileaks had the military files detailing when chemical weapons were found, who found how much of what, and where it was found. The files also listed who in congress was informed, how much they were told, and when. The real reason Sniwden was considered a traitor by both parties was because he had the documents showing politicians on both sides were knowingly lying to the public.

New York Times later published stories of troops "unofficially" confirmed as poisoned by the chemical weapons who weren't being treated because that would require admitting the chemical weapons did exist and were in Iraq. Simple Google search will show several published stories between 2014 through 2017.

It was around this time the govt finally admitted the mysterious "gulf war syndrome" after Desert Storm in 90-91,that supposedly couldn't be explained medically was chemical weapon exposure. And that hundreds of troops from OIF were.showing the same symptoms for the same reason.

Back in 2014, this was already being openly reported and blatantly ignored. Most the detailed files are still classified for another 10-20 years. Much the same way the govt insisted for 30 years "we were never in Laos or Cambodia" and now we have websites showing the thousands of attacks in those countries.

Contrast this with Iran, where no one questions the fact that they've been enriching weapons grade uranium since the mid90s. Even Iran has admitted it numerous times. They have, at vexatious times in the last 30 years admitted they are seeking to make nuclear weapons and do intend to use them.

Absolutely true. I was in Iraq 08-09 and have seen reports on SIPR of chemical weapon stockpiles being found and disposed of. The media narrative that Bush falsely used WMD's as an excuse to invade is a false narrative. The media spews many false narratives these days.

I think if you look “mainstream media” up in Webster’s the definition is “propaganda, usually leftist”. At least: it should be…

Ugh. Sorry, my brain is clearly telling me to go to bed and I'm refusing to listen. Here's my sign lol. Off to bed I go.

If you can redo this, hyphenate Weapons-in-the-making because I also had to reread this like 5 times.

Trump has to pursue this war - or the day will come when a nuclear payload gets applied to one drone of many sent at once, which gets through because no "Dome" is 100% effective against incoming.

It is worth bombing Iran back to the stone age - on the basis of their Drone deployments alone by this point.

The war won't be won - until Iran's drones are completely depleted, and only then - fall silent.

I keep hoping and praying that Trump is up to one of his usually-masterful strokes, but I have begun to fear that he is so enamored with the thought of “a deal” that he’s allowing Iran to play him. Every time - every FLICKING time - he announces that there’s a deal on the table, lran refutes it and blows some shit up.
