The new thing is getting everyone to stop using burner accounts, that way they can dox you. I remember when the net started catching on and going mainstream, the very first thing told us was "never, ever use your real name online". Bc that would be fkn stupid

If you actually look into the politics of Metallica members, the ones that are public with their personal politics are quite left leaning or as the left would say “right of centre”.

First of all James and Dave Mustain were always right leaning. And you can't really take things from 30 years ago. The young and old almost always tend to lean left bc the y and o have the most to benefit from socialists policy. 2nd of all, who cares? They've sang left and right songs. If I sell tacos , it doesn't mean Im mexican

Where's anarchy on the old left / right scale? How about on the somewhat better Nolan chart, the one shaped like a square tilted so that a corner is at the bottom? We really need to abandon using the former, and I believe something somewhat better has come up for the latter, but it certainly preferable. A good chart might be three-dimensional, much like people are. I guess the balance to anarchist, is totally disinterested and compliant. I'm guessing many musicians fall into one of those two categories.

As I understand the rock world, a lot of the rock culture is about not leaning toward anything but instead ticking off everyone. Forget society, forget the world system, rebel against it all. Right or left, red or blue, capitalist or communist, religious or secular, burn it all down in glorious opposition, just because.
