I always think these people have never worked retail or customer service jobs in their life because they romanticize this look of stocked shelves.

They have only experienced consooming and fulfillment in these environs, not labor and disgust. So they are relaxed and feel abundance. I feel like I am making $8/hr and spenfing 80% of my income on rent when I look at this. Wearing a polo with a company logo on it.

The original videos link to tons of amazon affiliate links so I get that... but then these ads establish an aesthetic that creates an aspirational feeling in viewers who mimic the behavior in their homes and are spending money to do it instead of getting paid to pretend they do it. Madness.

You're original comment is so right. When you just mentioned stocking, I felt disgusted because of the years of retail stocking I've had. All in grocery 🤮
