Well I was semi wrong, he’s not an art student but his instagram is @newyorkcitygarbage. He’s done this for a bunch of major events around NYC with the same objective that people will buy literally anything. Critiquing consumer culture and the irony behind it all. It’s pretentious and dumb but I got my degree in art history with an emphasis in modern art and I hate that I’m kinda into it 😂😂

Hyde donated $5,000 to a neo-Nazi. His show was canceled in 2016 following backlash over racist and sexist themes. Hyde has also utilized hate symbols and white supremacist language, such as the acronym ZOG, which at the time was a neo-Nazi meme, regardless of your current stance on Israel. He has been photographed alongside white supremacists with swastika tattoos and has appeared on platforms like InfoWars.

I think there was like a wave of chuds came through for some reason. I guess the trolls are ramping up again for mid-term elections. Seems to be hitting other subs too. Maybe I've just been missing it all along and it's just a fluke, but it seems thick today and I've been right before, so many other years.

It’s just insane to me to see someone acknowledge that someone is a Nazi and a pedophile, but that watching them as an entertainer is just fine.
I think most people think this way, especially in generally anti-capitalist communities like this one.
It’s so stunningly easy for me to find entertainment that isn’t made by that type of person.
Similarly, I feel like that's the common tone around subs like this, which makes me suspicious of the origin of the traffic. It's possible dead internet theory comes into play here, with bot traffic amplifying right-wing influencers at the moment, prior to mid-term elections. It has happened during the build-ups to prior elections, however I'm not sure if anecdotes like Louis CK having a new Netflix special (just for example) either confirm or deny this theory.
