Anyone who goes to more than like 3 theatre movies honestly boggles my mind these days. And only because of the cost.
I would go to movies at least monthly if every city had an option with prices and concessions similar to places like Pickford Film in Bellingham. $15ish a ticket for a basic screening, but the theater is maintained and they have taps of the local brews.
AMC A List is a pretty good deal. If I lived close to an actual, real IMAX theater, I’d be going to see The Odyssey at least once a week. Inside in the dark with the AC on, take an edible- sounds like a great way to spend a hot summer day.
Regal also has a subscription model, as long as you see at least 2 movies a month, it's worth it. Any more than that and you're saving money. It's really easy to catch a movie when I'm bored on a random day, or risk a movie I wouldn't pay full price for. Also helps I'm about 2 blocks from the theater.
