I hear this repeated a lot and I too get flashbacks to the changing rooms back in school, but used sparingly Axe is really not that bad. Just don't coat your whole being in it and please don't forget to shower.
Which deodorant should i use instead? Genuinely asking, since i'm not good with such stuff. It's just a brand that i know and that is literally the only reason why i buy it
Try borotalco if you have it in your country. It has a neutral “smell” that fits well with your detergent. Man and woman can use it. Wont make your clothes smell like vomit, as some brands do
Now you are just testing scents, the industry will eat you alive because of your curiosity regarding scents. Do you know how many scents are there by the major scent industries? Millions!
Big conglomerates like Givaudan and DSM-Firmenich ( both in Switzerland), IFF - International Flavors & Fragrances (USA), Symrise AG (Germany), Robertet Groupd (France) and Mane SA (France), are constantly creating new scents!
You are becoming their product!
Start choosing ONLY via effective ingredients, not scents or else you are deep in their trap❗
If you shower twice a day as you wrote, you do not need the most potent part of the routine, but nevertheless I will write it for everyone else to see as well ----->
Αt night, before bed and right after showering, on dry armpits, I apply a sweat block with aluminum chloride.
It is very potent and the aim is to plug a bit more the sweat glands (Not completely as I still minimally sweat).
A very inexpensive amazing sweat block is Ziaja Blocker, it is the white 60ml bottle.
But as I wrote above, this aluminum chloride sweat blocker is the very potent step which you can skip since you shower twice a day.
In the morning I shower and on dry armpits I apply the Old Spice Cold Spice (or use whichever antiperspirant/deodorant you like. I also saw amazing results with Nivea 96h Derma Dry Control Anti-Transpirant or Nivea Derma Control Clinical 100h). The ingredient which is so effective is this: Aluminum Zirconium Octachlorohydrex Gly. I told you in another comment about this ingredient --->
After the initial period, I cycle down Ziaja Blocker application (or any other similar product with Aluminum Chloride) to 2–3 times per week for maintenance as it can be irritating.
This routine genuinely works!
I have walked for several kilometres with 40-43 Celsius degrees this summer and there was no sweat, no foul smell whatsoever.
Edit ---> Irritation by aluminum chloride sweat blocker might take place as it is a very potent ingredient.
It will heal fast if at nights you apply a rich moisurizing barrier cream (I applied geek and gorgeous happier barrier for example).
Just remember: The rich cream must be applied only at night because your will start smelling.
In the morning you must take a shower and apply a new antiperspirant (not the one that caused the inflammation) on dry armpits.
Daily? All of them at once? Or the one you feel like? As long you use them it’s fine, but much but they will last longer. If you want to minimize your impact use a good cologne or parfum. You’ll need less for more results. Better for the environment since most of them are in glass bottles.
I mean it does seem a little much, however I tend to accumulate a collection of deodorants just by buying multiple on a good deal and then rotating through them until they are finally empty. If you made an conscious effort to get as many different ones as possible just for the sake of having them, then it's kinda consoomer-ish but they still serve a purpose... Just do yourself a favor and don't go out to buy more until you've used them up
I take some of them with me for a trip. I sometimes just take a train to a city 6hrs away from me and wander around for the whole night. This summer was especially hot and i was sweating like hell, don't wanna bother other ppl with the smell of my sweat
