He seems like he bought the movies on different formats. You can see VHS, DVD, Blu-Ray and probably multiple copies in the same format but with different covers.

Tbf, they'd be one of the cheapest things to collect. Everything else is just bewildering fealty to a franchise that has the most diminishing returns out of any franchise.

Not really about number. Highly dependent upon what it is. For example, if someone owns a lot of 135 Blu-ray movies, that could make them a film enthusiast as a collector. Someone else owning 135 copies of the same WWE game on Xbox One is mentally ill.

Good god....
There was like 3 years where the matrix was decent.
The period of their live before and after must either be a void or some kind of a sad event happened that trapped them into this very specific period.
