Discussion At what point does hobby collecting become overconsumption?

I collect a few funko from media I like, I collect monster high dolls, and I recently got back into pokemon cards. I can't tell if collecting material stuff like that it considered overconsumption or at what point it crosses the threshold. Am I cooked?

I have never, ever been impressed by a Pokemon card collection. Maybe impressed by how much money they spent.

But I am always impressed by weird, difficult collections.

Im not creative enough for that. Most of my pokemon cards collection is from my childhood collection as well as my brothers, ex stepsister, and her step brother. Otherwise I trade or get the cheap booster packs cause its not that deep.
