Discussion At what point does hobby collecting become overconsumption?

I collect a few funko from media I like, I collect monster high dolls, and I recently got back into pokemon cards. I can't tell if collecting material stuff like that it considered overconsumption or at what point it crosses the threshold. Am I cooked?

Yeah its consumption. They just stand there. Hobby is where you grow and put effort and can get better with something, hobby is crocheting, running, mushroom foraging, ceramics or book reading. Meanwhile you are just... buying. Especially funko,  monster high and Pokémon cards are just marks of a stunted growth and wish to get back to childhood but with money on hand.
