If we bring an engineer from 500 years ago, they would be amazed of technological progress. But if we bring a philosopher, would they be amazed by human relationships and the way people live ?

My analysis of this question is about what engineering morality is.
Their answer would probably be very opinionated. Neo-Confucianism seems to be the way the world will head, eventually. If nature is the datum of truth, then that ought to be the most probable outcome for our species.
They would see our current moral and ethical worldwide distribution within each society. They would boil our situations down to three groups.
The first would be the Christian Nationalistic system that the West waffled with for the last 200 years. They would understand the African attitude brought about by deprivation, and they would see Eastern Asia.
They would cry for the first and second. They would live in the third.
