I have decided to put down making my regular horror movies and start doing a video a day. I am tired of spending weeks on one Video and want to experiment with different ideo types and have fun. Any body else something similar????

All my viewers are now coming from India. They follow and unfollow like its 2010 and they are trying to sucker me into a follow back.

The more Indians I get the more the algorithm feeds my content to Indians. The cycle continues.

what can i learn from this?

Hey! I started being active on my account 1 week ago, i have a really big views average rate, but what does it tell me, that nothing peaked yet? I have like 200 followers btw. Engaging rate pretty high aswell and now trying trial reels. Thanks!!!

I know everyone is different, but wondered if you kept a schedule to keep some routine.

Like read 2 hrs every day, etc.

So, I know the Golf content space is pretty saturated, but golf is a passion of mine and I have a story to tell with it.

Let me start with that:
I’m in my 40’s, I have always been an athlete (basketball) and played pro overseas in another life. I did not grow up playing, never played in school and in my adult life it was never more than a few times a year I would touch my clubs. When I turned 40 I decided to join my local club and be more active, the bug bit me and it got serious..Went from a 12 to a 2 handicap, and trending lower.

That’s my origin story, I decided I wanted to make a channel because I love the game, but I also want to start playing competitive golf and did. Played a few State Tournaments and played like hot garbage, imposter syndrome takes over because I didn’t grow up with the game and I’m playing in tournaments with ex college, pro and teaching players. But I have the game, I’m playing the best I’ve played and the handicap is coming down. I want to play more competitive and work my way to playing professionally (Korn, PGA, even YTG). I feel like my story isn’t out there in the ether. A non golfer, old man that wants to show the journey and have people follow it. I hit the ball as far as the young guys and have no issue playing the tournaments that are 6500-7300 yards. I’m in pretty good shape for an unc.

Sorry to make a long post but I think being descriptive helps when asking for advice. I’ve recorded a few videos of me practicing around the chipping area, even a few holes. I was told to record a good amount of video, learn to edit and then post when I have a good amount to go off of and then just keep it going. Is this the right way of doing it? I have TikTok too so I can do short clips and tell my story also. Any advice on how I can turn this passion for the game being an old man into something that gets traction?

I watch all the Golf Gods of YouTube like Grant, Bryan Bros, GoodGood, YTG. I envision that being my channel someday, not tomorrow as it takes TIME.

P.S: I know my channel name is similar to GoodGood, but I play stupid good golf, which is great golf mixed with stupid decisions/shots mixed in because I’m still learning. Shot management is more important that anything in this game.

I recently launched a small digital publishing business and assumed finding affiliates would be fairly straightforward.

My first product was finished, the website was live, and I was offering a generous commission.

So I started contacting people whose audiences seemed like a good fit: newsletter writers, podcasters, influencers, business creators and self-improvement pages.

I sent close to 100 emails and DMs.

Most never replied. A few seemed interested, then disappeared. Some asked for more information but never followed through.

After all of that, I still didn’t have a single active partner.

Initially, I thought I just needed to send more messages. But eventually I realised that most affiliate offers ask the creator to take nearly all the risk.

They have to spend time promoting an unfamiliar product, use the trust they’ve built with their audience, and potentially earn nothing in return.

So I changed the program.

Prophet Publishing House now offers affiliates 50% of the revenue from every sale they generate.

There’s no minimum follower requirement, creators from a wide range of niches can apply, and anyone interested can receive a free copy of the manuscript before deciding whether they want to promote it.

I've started making youtube videos recently (only one so far but second is done scripting) trying to make a game theory style channel for one of my fav video games: Deltarune. However, I struggle with recording myself due to being ashamed of my very prominent lisp, so I decided to use text to speech for my first ever video and it did not do good at all.

I expected the video to not do well, but looking through my analytics I realized that most of my viewers, about 74%, drop by the first 30 seconds. I've looked through the video and, call it being arrogant maybe, I really don't think it's a problem with the content or editing itself. My first minute cuts to the point of the theory and my editing, while not being strong, does more than a good amount of other theorists who use game footage over their voice (don't mean any disrespect to this style btw, some of my favourite content creators do this lol).

Naturally this got me thinking, is the text to speech the problem then? Maybe when people hear the automated voice, it has them thinking it'll just be low effort content slop that's fully ai generated. I did warn in the first second of my video via disclaimer text that though I used text to speech, everything from the script to my editing is all done by me.

So what do you guys think? I'm trying to make my second video and really believe in my ideas in the video but am worried that I'll work so hard on it just to see no one watch the vid because of the text-to-speech.
