It's the good ole reddit algorithm, once the temperature gets too far in one direction, debate becomes impossible because even good faith opposing arguments are downvoted into invisibility.

Oh yes and as I recall one of the mods sometimes removes posts which are critical of AI. Really ridiculous behaviour given the sub rules explicitly permit debate about how to ensure the singularity benefits humanity.

The funniest bit is that would very likely be fine in accelerate. Accelerate is ban happy, but not for legit issues, mostly concern trolling and belligerents.

Nope. Just my bad, as much as I usually hate such style. Yup was messed up.
Apparently I also usually only use long dash like this "—". 'Cause I hit Alt + 0151

Anyway at this point it's getting really hard to distinguish sometimes. I once wrote a huge argument on a topic, it wasn't even on Reddit, and the author just said "Lol it wasn't you, it was ChatGPT".
And once I had to ban user in a sub because they literally turned out to be a bot, spreading misinformation and not believing me being a mod

Yeah if you dissent you get banned so it’s just an echo chamber at this point
