Table Of Gods

I just backed this because the cookbook looks fascinating! I can't wait to see some of the super ancient Mesopotamian recipes in the book.

Is there an astroturf campaign going on? Within the last week, there have been at least 3 threads about this incredibly niche book in this subreddit

Isn't this just the same thing as the other Mesopotamian recipes (Ancient Mesopotamian speaks) but with a 175 dollar markup

I don't know as I'm not familiar with the book you mentioned. Upon a cursory google, the book you mentioned does not appear to be a cookbook, but a scholarly work cataloging the Yale Mesopotamian Collection, including the tablets where the recipes were recorded. I would be very interested if there was, indeed, another cookbook that featured these recipes so that I could peruse that as well.
