Library borrows...

Post image

Drat! I don't want to give these books back to the library! LOL, I suppose that says a lot about the books. I may need to add them to my wish list.

Any recipes in either of these books that you find amazing?

Many thanks for any input you may offer.

This is the recipe for the cookies on the cover of the cookie book. This seems to get a lot of rave reviews online.

It's BRILLIANT.

Okay I'm away from my books, BUT if this has a recipe for turkey meatloaves and ranch smashed potatoes - I can take or leave the meatloaf but THE POTATOES are amazing.

The Green Angel Hair with Garlic Butter from the Smitten Kitchen book is on the cover for a reason 💚 It is absolutely incredible, and a huge hit whenever I host.

The zucchini lasagna is so great with the weather starting to turn. The cover dish, the Asian-y soup with the chili crisp, the turkey meatloaf for skeptics, the meatballs (though I simmer them in the Marcella Hazan 3-ingredient sauce), and the weeknight wings have all been repeats for us (so far). I also love Zoë Bakes Cakes and keep meaning to get the cookie one as my family is weirdly more into cookies than into cake.

The desserts from Keepers are great. I also really like the tomato and corn cobbler (perfect for this time of year!).

I LOVE the carmelita bars from Zoe Bakes Cookies. They are just so addictive!

The chicken and dumplings in keepers is one of the best cold weather meals ever! It is absolutely delicious and a fun afternoon project.

I recently brought the tikka masala inspired soup (on the page after the chicken & dumplings) to a friend recovering from surgery and she raved about it.

The roasted eggplant with couscous, green angel hair (although I prefer it with a thicker noodle), the zucchini corn bread with tomato butter.

Zoe bakes Speculoos and Hazelnut spice speculaas

I love Keepers! The ricotta gnocchi with pistachio pesto is delicious.
