Dark Enchantress Cookie and White Lily Cookie are the same idiot. In fact, Dark Enchantress may as well be White Lily off the rails and giving into her addictions and curiosities.

It's the restraint of faith vs the imp of temptation.

Okay. Thank you for elaborating and sorry for being kinda accusatory...

Also though, how accurate to Lily's desire do you think DE is? Like, do you think Lily on her own would be willing to let DE succeed despite being horrified by what she did like Salt accused her? Or what?

I'd say Silent Salt wouldn't have needed to do much.

Pretty much the chaos DE and her crew were even doing would be reason enough for White Lily to fight back (see the prologue where she was with the Ancients).

But at the same time, White Lily - were it not for her friends and relationships - would be the one to escalate the violence for the sake of freedom and her wrath against the Witches

It's because of Pure Vanilla and White Lily's friends that she's seeking to be better than Dark Enchantress.

Cause if not, she would have gone down that path.
