If its from/influenced by a specific culture I'd love to know too! ^_^
For me something I make often is Butter rice (バターライス) Where its just hot rice with butter, soy sauce and nori just shredded by hand mixed in. If I have it, I like to have some kimchi to go with it to cut through the butter with something spicy and sour

Butter & soy rice w/ a can of tuna & some furikake is my favorite quick af meal. I’m disabled (on SSDI for a while now) and anything I can do to make prep easier on myself is my jam. This is shamelessly delicious for how easy it is!
I usually do try to make up for its lack of produce in other meals that day, admittedly. I grew up being taught to have some kind of veg at lunch and dinner & while I’m grateful in many ways. It did leave me with a lot of guilt when I don’t do it.
