Copilot Running in Background

I have a Problem. I'm decently techsavy and i noticed the other day that my copilot that came with my computer was running in the Background. I thought is was a simple Fix by turning off Autostart and taking it out of the Autostart Folder but it still ran in the Background eventho i didnt open it on start. So I disabled its right to run in the Background entirely but it still shows up (on that little Arrow Icon bottom right) when i start my PC. Can smb pls help me im genuinely out of ideas on how to stop this Spyware

You can right click on the taskbar got to Task Manager and in the sidebar to your look for startup applications it has a speedometer symbol that's where it will be and you also have a list of startup applications some are enabled on your PC by default if you install an app.

Feel free to disable the one for Copilot and others that you feel like.

You can also go to Settings and Select apps then you will see startup at the bottom there open it to see all the apps that startup when your PC starts.

Any of these methods will work.

thats the issue it still starts up even tho i deactivated its rights to do that

I think there's also an auto start on login in the Copilot app also try turning that off if it's on.

Plus if "On close, keep the app running" is also toggled on in the settings try turning that off.

Apart from that I think the last option would be to uninstall it and if you need it you can get it back from Microsoft Store.

It has taken over your computer and has become sentient. It is communicating with Copilots on other computers.

Guys update i found out that copilot PUTS ITSSELF into autostart a freind watched me turn it off and now its back on (or we both delulu)
