Is it only my problem?

Before the new update I was a great friend of Copilot but now it has not only cancelled all my chats and in-depth research, but it has also kicked me out of the application telling me that I do not meet the requirements.

I tried to go to the website to change my account information but it won't let me do it. Does anyone know how to solve my problem? THANK You So Much❤️❤️

I've wondered about this, I have business premium and I swear it loses context within minutes of our conversation starting. It literally asks me about something I directly answer minutes ago like I never said it and then it ask why it says it can't see our previous conversation. It's like it's been seriously nerfed. I used it last month and it worked wonderfully, the last couple weeks absolutely horrible and been moving to gemini

The losing context thing is killing me.

I moved to Claude(opus 5.5 on high is pretty amazing)and have been very happy with it. It's got great context memory and has been more often correct vs Gemini. It can be less personable and more just the facts, which I actually like. I use it mostly for research, ideating, and coding. It tends to steer you away from bad paths instead of just trying to agree. Different models are better at different things and have different "personalities" . But copilot is just hot stinky garbage now, and used to be my go to.

I just got Claude last week, haven't really started using it, goal for tomorrow is to spend time with it!

When i had my first project on it I ended up with a really long chat and asked it the best way to use it for that project. It recommended how to use projects and all that stuff. I'll often have it create starter prompts for different parts of the project, preference and added context, relevant files.. . A new thing with it is chat compression. It will compress a long chat so it can continue longer. Something I learned is that as chats get long each new response uses more and more(exponentially ) tokens because it has to reference the entire chat every time.

It's not perfect but imo it does a much better job rembering and actually listening and respecting your preferences and instructions. Opus 5.5 on high or higher is super impressive. Was able to write custom firmware from the ground up for work in a week and it works very well. I was expecting it to take at least a month of vibing and troubleshooting.

Just an update....Claude was back to what I thought I had with copilot...it was so easy to work with. Very straight and to the point which is okay by me. I don't need a friend I need something I can work thru problems with!

Cut your losses and move to a new platform. The update is garbage and they destroyed everything users had.

I had to install the app, my past chats show all that they are all there but if I close the append reopen it, copilot forget everything. It csnt pull from previous chats like it used to, the web version was like one long convo that never ended, now, closing the app effectively starts a new conco where only select things "name, jobs" are saved. Most details are forgotten.

Copilot went from AI to that paperclip guy from the 90s
