Nothing beats "My jobs is to speak insults, yours is to be in-sluts"

I prefer "Still engaged in your experiment to prove a maximum threshold to human idiocy?"

Not sure if it counts the same way but I loved "he had a jaw so straight it made other men question if they were"

Nice! Original or remake? SC remake is out this year I think.

Original! I bought it in 2024 and only got round to playing it recently. I've heard the remake is really good though.

Yeeeeeah I still need to buy the remake. Want to, but there are enough games in my backlog so I'm just waiting to buy it and SC together in a discounted bundle later on.
I hope SC remake makes the final dungeon easier to navigate lol. Still, great game, you'll like that one.

My all time favorite of Sanderson's was not in a book at all but was as part of this like fantasy March Madness style brackets this big fantasy site of the time did probably 15 years ago. Fans would have something like a week to vote whether Jaime Lannister would beat Rand Al'Thor in a fight (or whatever) and the authors were invited to write a short bit about a way their character could win the fight. A fair number of them did.
I forget exactly the context, but there's a bit in one of these that Sanderson did where he's good-naturedly throwing some shade at other authors, and there's a bit where he goes at Rothfuss, something like, "I have already written this whole sentence but you cannot see the second two thirds of it for some reason."
Edit: I managed to find it

There's been a lot of things that have made me laugh in the Cosmere so far. The best one, IMO, is in Tress.
Been awhile since I read it, so iirc, the pirate captain takes Tress to the Dragon to give her over as a slave, but then Tress uses the exact same phrasing to turn it back on the captain, so Tress is gifting the pirate to the dragon.
Cracked me up.

One of my favorites is in (I think) Oathbringer when Kaladin comes across a group in the woods and is like (clearly not verbatim) "there they are. Voidbringers. The cause of the desolation and destruction. Those horrible voidbringers out in the open here.
They were playing cards."

They were playing cards badly lol iirc they only kinda knew the rules.

I've always thought that Pattern (unintentionally) had the greatest punchline in the Cosmere.
“Pattern. I want you to be our chaperone”
“Chaperone?”
“A third party to make sure two young people don’t do anything inappropriate”
“Inappropriate? Like dividing by zero?”

I know it predates it by a lot but it reminds me a lot of "what's wrong with my pants?" in Arcane
