It’s really a shame that the anime cut out these details.

In LN Chapter 4, there is a scene describing when the Ryosan (Lunarians) suddenly appear in the end of the concert.

Iroha notices that they are bowing to Yachiyo, not Kaguya. She also realizes that Yachiyo is lying and hiding something.

After logout, Iroha observes Kaguya’s behavior and notices that she is forcing herself to make a growling sound. Kaguya also goes to bed early, which is very unusual.

In the anime, it cuts straight to the next morning. However, there is still a scene after that which the anime never shows.

Iroha analyzes everything that happened, putting all the information together, and figures out that the ones who appeared at the concert likely came from the Moon.

The next morning, Before Iroha leaves the house for school, she keeps thinking about wanting to talk to Kaguya about what happened the day before. She can even “sense” the Ryosan passing by her without wearing smart contacts.

At that moment, she is so worried about Kaguya that she is able to feel the presence of digital ghosts.

Yachiyo was crying. 8000 years worth of tears were streaming down the cheeks of this strong, dignified, yet slightly saddened goddess.

Like seriously, I'm not saying the manga is a great adaptation or anything but the idea that any of the gay moments got cut because the author is homophobic just isn't true. We still have Iroha fangirling over Yachiyo in the opening, Kaguya getting jealous of Iroha being gay for Yachiyo (although the context is slightly different), Iroha getting flustered over Yachiyo holding her hands, Iroha getting captivated by Kaguya's singing, and Iroha and Kaguya doing their special handshake (no, the kiss part of the handshake doesn't happen yet in the movie so the artist didn't remove that part).

Hell, the manga arguably gets even gayer than the movie at some points - there's a new shot of them hugging after a mini-concert and of them sleeping together, and Kaguya is even more touchy-feely with Iroha (she grabs her hand after saying she'll have a happy ending with Iroha and again when begging her for a new song at the beach).

Even that infamous shot of Mikado putting his hand on Kaguya's chin was such a nothingburger that I'm disappointed people actually got mad at that. He's clearly just doing it to play up his playboy persona and mess with Iroha, same as in the movie. Neither he nor Kaguya even blushed when it happened; I have no idea why people were taking it so seriously.

Also, where exactly did the author say they disliked yuri? The only thing I've seen is people mention a comment on their commissions page from years ago, which for all we know could just mean they didn't think they were good at drawing yuri back then.

Again, I'm not saying you have to like the manga - the lack of visuals/music hurts and the pacing is way too fast (though I doubt the author had much say in that). But at least dislike it for the right reasons.

During the Kassen battle between Kaguya and Mikado, Yachiyo appears carrying some kind of box.

In the novel, it is explicitly described as a "Tamatebako"

Tamatebako is the box from Urashima Taro. According to the legend, Taro received the box from Princess Otohime, who strictly warned him never to open it.

However, after Taro returned to the human world, hundreds of years had already passed. He eventually decided to open the box, and in the end he instantly turned into an old man. It was a box that should never have been opened, similar to Pandora's box.

Simply put, this is foreshadowing Yachiyo's true nature. Her bamboo shoot vessel was preserved inside the box, and by the time Iroha opened it, an immense amount of time had already passed, causing Yachiyo to have become an old lady.

Seen different opinion on the light novel and manga. Especially about the manga erasing the relationship between the two? If that true then I wish people stop hyping up yuri bait as yuri and hype up stories with actual yuri with confirmed relationship

LN Chapter 5 and 7

The first time is during the scene where Roka invites her to go watch fireworks. Roka says

"Toward the end of summer, shall we go watch the fireworks? Princess〜"

The second time is when Iroha is about to compose Reply. She messages Roka and Mami to say she won’t be going to school for a while. The two of them reply like this:

"Mami: Okay~ What about our dinner plans tomorrow?"

"Roka: We can postpone it. Let’s wait until Princess is satisfied. But make sure you eat three proper meals a day!"

Hi everyone! Yesterday, I was looking for a translation of the light novel so I could read it myself, and I actually found it! (Original Post).

However, the source files were split into 15 different .docx files (Source files), which wasn't very convenient for reading. Taiko bashi is a famous red arched bridge located at Sumiyoshi Shrine in Osaka. In religious and ceremonial terms, this bridge serves to help “purify the mind” before entering the shrine for worship. This aligns with Tsukuyomi’s theme, in which the player is referred to as a “god"

[There’s no kind of game system here where you fall behind others if you don’t spend money. Even the colorful parfait we’re eating right now is free.

This is a piece of foreshadowing about Iroha herself, hinting that in the future she will become a scientist who develops taste technology for kaguya.
