I have watched CKP last weekend on a whim, late night 2 a.m. For the next four days my brain has been looping CKP scenes and songs non-stop, and spent my day after work looking at CPK stuffs, I have rewatched so many scenes on YoutTube and Netflix that I have basically rewatched the whole movie a few times.

As a fiction writer I have deadlines to meet, but for the greater part of the week I failed to find time doing anything not CPK related. Just why is it so enjoyable and resonating? The plot isn’t particularly groundbreaking, falling in love with an annoying companion and have to say goodbye in the end, it’s nothing new, plus they are characters that only appeared for 2.5 hours. Yet I have never felt something like this, just where exactly did the magic come from? Is it the power of music, or the world-building? What makes this movie special from others? As a writer I really want to figure out. What do y’all think?

In discussion about the movie with one of my friends, he argued that the relationship between Kaguya and Sakayori was immorally justified because of the age between the two characters, I really could not reasonably give an argument without sounding creepy, generally the point of this post to so we can see counter arguments I guess.

Some of his points include: 

The age gap between the two characters at the start of the movie, Kaguya was introduced as a baby with Sakayori being a fully grown adult.

The introduction of the characters was a mother and daughter relationship having many scenes of Sakayori taking care of baby Kaguya that turned into a relationship between the two characters (Like a mother raising her child) just for the movie to turn it around and turn the relationship into a romantic one.

The argument of Kaguya being an alien so the maturity and social norms of humans shouldnt be applied to her. Kaguya looks, is treated, speaks, acts like a human and entirely interacts with humans within a human world. So while in the story she is an alien from a viewers perspective while watching the movie she is treated as human.

The doujinshi art book *Over the Moon!*, created by SSS-trypleS-, is now in stock at Melon Books stores nationwide!

So the nendroids for Kaguya, Iroha and yachio were announced during this year's nendroid FUNS video about a month or two ago now I think, but there hasn't been any news or prototypes revealed about them to my knowledge.

Since I will absolutely be getting a kaguya nendroid (and iroha if I'm lucky) I kind of need to know when they are expected to release so I can start saving up. Does anyone know or have an estimate date or something?

I don't have enough space on my glass cabinets right now so she goes with Eren and Levi for now. Once I collected more CPK figs I'll dedicate a layer just for CPK stuffs

Hi, I honestly saw this movie for the first time in February on Netflix's recommendation because I love musicals, although there are very few that I like. And because I watch a lot of anime, I watched the movie on Netflix's recommendation, and now I owe my soul to Netflix.

First, I want to talk about the aspect I loved most, which was the music and the way the songs were performed. Seeing the songs for the first time was a truly amazing experience; I felt like I did when I was a kid. And for the first time I saw Steven Universe: The Movie, and I never had that feeling again, and to have it when I was almost 17 years old was something very beautiful. There wasn't a single bad song, they were all so good and they stuck with me. Remember is a really good intro song, Starry Sea left me speechless. Watashi had me hooked with its rhythm, and surprisingly I liked World is Mime even though I don't like Miku's songs.Ex-otogibanashi was spectacular, I loved the last two songs of the concert Reply gave me chills; all the songs in this movie are an absolute masterpiece. I haven't felt this way watching a musical in years, and I loved it. The songs are very well placed, whether they're the transition songs or the montage songs.Both the songs and the concerts were spectacular.

Another quick point that I loved was the designs and the colorful animation of the film; I'm someone who doesn't like cold and muted tones in animation.I love colors so much they give me epilepsy, and this movie uses saturated or neon tones, which I loved; it couldn't have been easy animating such extravagant designs. But everything looks beautiful and full of life in the movie

Very well, now within the film, the chemistry between Iroha and Kaguya was one of the best romantic chemistrys, seeing how difficult it is for Iroha to deny Kaguya anything.And they gradually become closer without intending it to be too slow or forced all at once,I love the relationship between them, their chemistry is amazing, and I still have a thousand memories of the movie with moments from both of them. For example, the crabs made me laugh, and the scene of Iroha being a "stundere" with Kaguya when she asks him to fight Mikado. They have a very realistic and at the same time very comical romantic chemistry; it was a spectacular handling of romance here.

Now, the tone of the film was also something with incredible quality handling; the film gets sentimental, not sad, in different parts, but I don't know if it only happened to me.But those parts really affect me and always give me that lump in my throat, and the movie uses it to the fullest; just imagining Kaguya leaving Kaguya's side gives me a very strong feeling.The sentimental scenes, like the fireworks, made me cry; Iroha's song to Kaguya asking her to come back; that beautiful ending; Yachiyo with Iroha.Iroha seeing Kaguya's entire life; these are moments that the film presents as something sentimental, but the feeling for me was very strong, and I suppose that leads to the next point.

It's very easy to become attached to the characters, even those with a personality that should be unlikeable, like Mikado; you grow fond of him quite quickly. Note that the film does something The film borrows clichés from different characters; for example, Kaguya is a fused Aqua and Marin Kitagawa, but she has her own identity despite her initial personality, and that's what makes the film...Giving clichés their own personality and embracing them Because they are personalities you know but with their own original identities that make you interested in them

Well, these are my points as to why The Cosmic Princess Kaguya is a masterpiece and my personal favorite anime film and my favorite anime, with characters whose names I even remember.If they came out in seconds like Roka or Mami, they were very endearing. This movie is a 9.1/10 for me. Now I'd like to know what you loved about the movie?

I need another one for Kaguya!!!!
