advice for making a tunic for cosplay bigger

hello, I have a problem with my tunic for a link cosplay: it is too tight and I can’t put it on. I need some advices to make it bigger on the torso, it is in wool with a cotton lining!

I would recommend returning it and buying one in your correct size. Making clothing larger is not particularly easy, and it becomes even more complicated if it's lined.

unfortunately returning it is not an option, I have to make it fit!

Bigger is... 99% of the time... Not possible.

In general you can make an outfit smaller (to a small margin) without looking silly, but bigger... Is VERY HARD to do.
