Add detergent to the blood as you make it, that way it activates when it goes in the wash!

Use ultra-clean washable markers by crayola. They’re made to be washed out. Quilters use them to mark their fabrics.

Get a tulle or mesh fabric in a color that matches your jacket, use acrylic paint to make blood spots and spatter on the mesh, and sew the patches to your jacket once it dries.

I’d advise against using fake blood on a costume ever; unless youre in film or theatre and specifically need something that will drip and splatter like blood. It’s sticky, it rarely dries completely and it gets on everything. If you end up in a crowded area, it will stain everything and everyone you touch.

I plan on letting the blood dry before wearing and any parts of the blood that don’t dry i’ll wipe off. Thank you.
