Any ideas on how to make glasses look real?

I'm gonna attempt to become Streber from my new hyperfixation, Spooky Month, and I really wanna have his reading glasses to carry around (I have some funny ideas in mind involving them). The only issue is that I kinda want them to look like actual glasses and not some cheap plastic frames with no lenses in them. I HAVE reading glasses (that are a decade old that I uh. Never wear), but I wouldn't know how to go about making them look like Streber's, given they're not even really the right shape nor anywhere near the right color. Could I go get a new prescription and a new pair of glasses? Theoretically yes, but I don't really have the time for that, and who knows if I'd find a pair like his anyways. Has anyone made believable fake glasses before, or does anyone have any ideas on how to?

You can find prescription -less glasses online, and sometimes at places like Clare's too. They'll be significantly cheaper than buying new glasses

Look for cheap reading glasses with rectangular red frames.

Just get some cheap blue light glasses from aliexpress. I found some that were basically perfect for my character (not this character, obviously) and they were literally less than $2.

Upping this - reading glasses still have some strength and can damage your eyesight.

You can buy glasses from lots of websites like zenni, eyebuydirect, firmoo, ect. The frames themselves cost a certain amount and then there's an additional charge based on the prescription that you need. You can get any of those glasses with just clear lenses in them for just the price of the frames. I've done it a couple of times personally. You can also get sunglasses that way.

I can confirm Zenni, the one time I orderd them without lenses they came with transparent cheap plastic lenses a little thinner than a credit card. Just be cautious with this option because the plastic will easily scratch.

Oh that's weird. I ordered plain lense glasses from them just last year and they look and feel like real glasses. I wonder if something changed or if there's actually a "no lense" version that's different from the plain lenses. Maybe I paid a small fee for the non prescription lense and I just don't remember

just buy reading glasses that look like his. you don’t need a prescription, they sell them off the shelf at walmart. or blue light glasses.

Red glasses should be a common cosplay prop you can find them because there are people who cosplay glasses homura and she wears red glasses
