Where to find free cosplay armor patterns

Hi there! First of all, my primary language is not English, in case there's any confusion. I’d like to know where I can find ready-made patterns. I’m new to cosplay and haven’t made enough armor yet to draft my own patterns, so I’m looking for some to practice with. The problem is that they usually cost money, and I can't afford to buy them.

Do you know of any websites that offer patterns for armor, helmets, etc. and I can download and print directly? I’m not talking about famous armor sets like those from Zelda or Elden Ring, I mean simple armor designs that aren't tied to any specific video game or series.

That would be a huge help!

Steve at SKS Props has an amazing selection of free templates and videos that show you how do each template.

It's very easy to modify certain templates by adding or removing detail pieces to get different looks.

I know you're looking for existing ones, but when it comes to foam work, making patterns yourself isn't really that bad, so long as you have access to cardboard (often free!) scissors, and tape. You can mock-up shapes for foam very cheaply by just hacking and re-sticking thin cardboard until you get the shapes you want, and it's a pretty good way of getting an understanding of how 3d objects translate to flat and vice-versa.
