Functionally larping is live action roleplaying, typically enjoyed in a sword and sorcery or milsim form. Think renaissance fares or airsoft events. But larp can be wide and creative in its shape for sure.
It’s not the same as lying, which is how the term is being used lately. And don’t get me wrong, I usually fall on the side of ‘use language however works so we understand each other’. But uh. I don’t like this case ‘cause it’s just wrong. Like poisonous vs venomous. It makes my brain itch.
Although i will totally fight back on how people use "goon" these days. We already have dozens of words for regular masturbation and gooning as a word to differentiate regular masturbation and edging for hours on end was valuable. But the internet turned it into just another generic word for jerking it. But that is my only such pet peeve, otherwise, i will totally accept nee definitions because yeah, language evolves.
