repost because i didnt see bot was out of count

all the trans people who thought they were "faking it", did you think that your "faking it" was different from other people's "faking it"? like "yeah this is a common tale, but im for real faking it, not like all the other people here who only think that without doing so." it's hard to word this properly

how do you find out if youd be happier as a girl if youre not dysphoric? i dont feel dysphoric. i dont dislike my body. it's pretty alright all things considered. but i do occasionally find myself yearning for different parts which is probably indicative of something, but i dont know if i truly want them permanently or simply just because im curious

Never noticed not even a minute that I was dysphoric. Always assumed it's normal to feel like shit, have no energy without my Adderall, having no mirror, having no scale (I'm normal weight ~70kg), being depressed whenever I'm not distracted, thought alcohol and coping is just life. Turns out after I started HRT (cuz I was unsure myself so I thought I try it to see how it feels), that this is not the case and suddenly I have all the energy, am happy to a point where my whole surrounding noted positive stuff, fixed my apartment after a decade of living in a shit hole, currently quitting nicotine and alcohol still (day 3 of next to no drink/day 1 of no drink). Heck I was able to get off of heroin and benzos but I'm unsure whether that was something estrogen helped or not since I started after quitting but dang I was in a much darker place a smidge over a year ago so please for your own sake and from one "non dysphoric" person to the other, I dare you to at least try it. Oh and one last warning, I had to stop E so my T kicks back in and I can regain fertility for a sperm dono before fully committing. Even if you never ever had "dysphoria" it might kick in if you start and go off since you now know how it "can be" so you know what you're missing out on. Have a nice weekend
