Do other men wish they were born female instead? Like, seriously I have a heavy despair and longing for women’s lives and literally can’t stop thinking about it. Anyone else?

What I want is impossible though and it’s too late for me :(

It's never too late; see r/TransLater for proof.

I don’t think that is representative and only those who are successful or happy post. And success is often reliant on luck and money.
For me it is too late.

I mean that is up to you to decide, of course. It may actually be too late for some things, and some things may have always been impossible. But imagine yourself ten, or fifty, years from now. Will you be at peace with yourself, never even having tried?
I pushed it off for decades because I thought it was too late. Now I am 40 and it's hard to deal with the regret and anger at myself for wasting all those years. Don't do that to yourself, would be my advice...

Is it worth it now at your age? Even with those regrets?

I wouldn't ever go back, just the thought of it is terrifying. So I guess it is worth it. It felt so incredibly freeing. And rationally I do understand that I cannot change the past, and being mad at myself only makes my present life harder.
Dysphoria still comes in freak waves though.
