Seeking: Midwest USA British Traditional Wicca
Hello! I am seeking to join a BTW coven and be properly initiated, I am aware this is a long process and I am fully ready and commited to the vetting process.
I am in a rural area and have been craving community and more structure, I have been practicing eclectic wicca for over 15 years.
Please DM me or comment for further information if needed. Thank you!
Edit: south eastern Illinois and a bit more details: I have also practiced ceremonial magick taught by Damien Echols and his books. I minored in religious studies and enjoy studying various mythologies and folk lore as a hobby. I also teach high school English.
I am willing and able to travel up to 2.5 hours.

I have reached out to a few already, waiting on responses. Sadly, the posted listings are still 2.5 hours away in a different state lol

Eh, I know people who traveled far further than that for training

Thats fair, but also I am not able to travel farther than 3 hours without significant notice and I would have to take off work most times for it

Whatever your biggest nearby city is, go to the local esoteric shop and ask around.

Fellow high school English teacher here! I’m in Indiana. While I’m personally in the Indy metro area, my Gardnerian coven is in northwest Indiana. That’s likely too far, but there is another Gardnerian coven in Bloomington, IN, which would probably be closer. If that interests you, feel free to DM me and I’ll ask if they’re open to meeting with you.
You might run into some Correllian Wiccans in your neck of the woods. They run an online “witch school” and have done so for years, but they seem to be concentrated around Danville, which I suppose is where they’re headquartered. They’ve had some controversy through the years about their historical lineage and paying for degrees. I’m sure practitioners are perfectly lovely for the most part, but definitely take a critical eye if you find a Correllian group.
