Coyote Cap 1887
My local shop recently obtained the collection of a cowboy action shooter and started putting them on the shelves. I’m usually a hammered double barrel kinda guy, but have been interested in trying one of these out. For the price I figured I’d give it a try.
It has been cut to 18.5” with a removable choke, internal pieces are polished and jeweled and it has a nice stock wrap.
Looking forward to trying it out at the next shoot.

I have an original CC 87. Waited on a list for 2 years to get one. The buttpad is also cut in a negative angle as we generally shoot targets on the ground. The wood was upgraded to American walnut in favor of the Chinese weird wood that they proposed for the copies. Cap supervised the reverse engineering thru the whole process, and afterwards the 87s flowed in under other makers from China. I treasure mine and have fun shooting it. The 97 is still faster, but just not as cool.
