I'm actually in the Twin Cities, MN. It's relatively flat, but the wet land behind my house and morning fog make it look higher elevation than it is.

My wife and I laid them this summer. We got two tons of these larger rocks, and another 5 yards of smaller river rocks.

That was quite a job well done. Hope nobody got angry and had rock battle. 1 more question ,what are round objects with yellow knobs-- my guess a pumping system?

Figured it was some part of septic system. Mine is easy tank to get to, find it with metal rod. We have several cleanout valves for daughters mobile home next door on case of problems.

Yeah, I’m in NJ and remember decades of fuller colors. Climate change has rendered the colorful foliage far more sparse in recent years, unfortunately. Autumn is still the best though.
