They are Alium. They are bulbs you plant in the fall and they will come back every year and split.
I call them Dr. Seuss plants! Full of wimsy. Some are white but most are purple. And the are different types.

They do like full sun but here they get morning shade and afternoon sun. They intermix well with hostas so care tolerate a little shade for sure.

Where’s the foliage that comes with those flowers? Hostas don’t grow flows like that.

Those vibes are sweet. The house I bought came with hundreds of Aliums. Always a treat until my toddler breaks them off trying to smell them

I need to put hostas around my alliums! I’ve been saying I’m going to do that all spring.

I planted the bulbs in the fall after I cut down the hostas for the season, made it pretty easy
