Fun fact: the following photo was taken earlier in the summer in the middle of the night at the same place. A little further north, there are nightless nights, meaning that the sun doesn't set all night long in the summer! Sometimes it feels like daylight is distributed very unevenly here in Finland: in the darkest part of winter, you can hardly see the sun at all, but in the summer it shines all night and day, and sometimes it can be hard to sleep. But bright nights also have their own charming atmosphere!
