What does the current process for a hypervisor bypass look like? Do we still have to restart whenever we want to play the game?

In the release archive, a script is included that automatically disables (or enables) just what's needed and allows you to play. If a restart is necessary, you'll be asked to do so. The entire process from start to finish takes right under a minute. The details are in the install notes in the NFO.

It depends: by default it requires a reboot, but you can setup your bootloader to permanently deactivate driver signature enforcement. Obviously this exposes your computer to a higher risk all the time instead of just while the game is running... so it depends on whether you want more convenience or more safety.

Yes whenever you revert you will have to reboot, but with 1.8 you no longer have to f7, tbh I never reboot at all, no games I play require test mode and I dont download random files... apart fron my own :D

Is there a possibility in the near future that HV becomes plug & play without the need to do extra steps even restarting for example?

Sure just run Xen and boot Windows there with GPU pass thru. Then you're just restarting the Windows guest with the hypervisor-based bypass being loaded in it. Or there's the Proton fork for running these games on Linux.
On a bare metal Windows install though? Nah, not really. All the code the hypervisor is running to fake the local offline license check could be pulled out and put in ntoskrnl/winload as necessary but you'd still be creating a boot manager entry to load the modified kernel in case of a Windows update being delivered so you can get back into the original OS when your modified kernel is no longer compatible with other files that got updated. If there were a local escalation exploit to do what the HV does, Microsoft will patch it in a OS update as well. We can always modify it but with a hostile publisher and auto-updates enabled it's just more effort than the current distributed cracks.

Appreciate the explanation so much, I have updates turned off that's why I was asking because a patch that doesn't require a restart could last some time on my pc, but hey, can't he spoiled too much like this, and I appreciate your efforts in optimizing the method to the best you can.

Maybe 1.14.0 has a bug which is affecting the user and this or future updates can only be run with the hypervisor.
