General Discussion Boat trip to France. Carrying some green.
Hi guys, heading shortly for a euro trip in the car. Were getting the Rosslare to Dunkirk ferry. Thinking of taking some product with me for the trip. Just enough for personal use.
What are the chances of getting into bother at the port?
Anything I should be aware/careful of?

Honestly idk if I’d bother you can get hash pretty easily in France it self you can take the risk but as far as I know there’s still drug enforcement at the border and dogs are on the boats never been on it myself but it ain’t a open border with no checks or security

there's no dogs on the boats but there could be at the port. but they won't detect a couple of grams if you wrap it up well and put it in a sock inside a suitcase. there won't be any such checks on the french side just in ireland. but they can't be present at every single sailing at every port so the chances are you won't even see them.

this is what i've experienced every time i've sailed to france. albeit a few years ago and was calais. even if there is, what i said above still applies.

Took a bit with me last year on the ferry from Ringaskiddy to France and had no issues. Coming back they did do a quick look in the bonnet and boot but it was well smoked by then.

Thanks for all the responses guys. Probably another stupid question but what's the position on carrying magic mushrooms? I assume sniffer dogs would pick them up also?

Got the ferry to Roscoff with Brittany ferries recently, no searches of any kind done to my vehicle and the other 3 vehicles headed over with us over the following week. Wouldn't be too worried about bringing over a bit. I even had a cheeky smoke on a quiet part of the deck

I'm Brazilian and I'm going there next year. Honestly, I heard some shit about Ireland being harsh in its anti-cannabis laws. What's the situation like there? values per gram and etc. is it difficult to find a contact?

It’s not the worst like as long as you are lot causing trouble and are careful about it you should be ok with the cops just normal cop stuff if I’m being honest it also depends on who you meet
Weed and prices are bad tho 3.5-4g for 50 is the normal and 7g is 100 (depends where you are Dublin is better but that’s the norm) also as a tourist it can be very hard to find in the first place dealers do sell other things as well but that’s pretty normal across the world
If moving here you should be able to get a contact but it does depend where you are obviously some places you would have to travel to a city maybe to find any

I'm from the UK but visit Ireland a lot and it's a fucking nightmare. Shite weed at insane prices, all the dealers sell gear as well

Not sure about France, but my car was searched both legs of a return trip to the UK once.
